Jumoke Aderounmu’s Brother Dispels Illness Rumors, Shares Insights into Her Passing

Adeola Aderounmu, the brother of late actress Jumoke Aderounmu, has shed light on her unexpected passing and her relationship with actress Funke Akindele. In an interview with Punch, Adeola revealed that despite Jumoke’s attempts to contact Funke Akindele regarding job opportunities, their efforts were in vain, leading to questions about possible wrongdoing.

Adeola emphasized that Jumoke, described as an introvert who valued solitude, had no history of illness and peacefully passed away in her sleep. He also disclosed her plans to relocate to the United Kingdom before her untimely demise. Despite the family’s grief, they plan to hold a tribute event in church on the 40th day after her death.

Expressing disappointment with Funke Akindele’s response to Jumoke’s passing, Adeola criticized her for allegedly neglecting his sister during her illness and only publicly mourning her after her death. He questioned the sincerity of Funke’s intentions, accusing her of showing “fake love” in the wake of Jumoke’s demise.

In response to Adeola’s claims, Funke Akindele tearfully addressed the issue during an Instagram Live session, refuting allegations of neglect and explaining that she was unaware of Jumoke’s illness until her brother’s public post. She emphasized her own personal struggles and denied any prior knowledge of the situation.
