King Charles ‘Too Busy’ for Prince Harry, but Not David Beckham

Recent reports suggest that King Charles found time in his busy schedule to meet with former football star David Beckham at his country home, Highgrove, Gloucestershire, but apparently couldn’t accommodate a meeting with his son, Prince Harry.

Insiders revealed to The Sun that the monarch and Beckham had a private discussion concerning the King’s Foundation, a charity established by King Charles himself in 1986.

In October, it was disclosed that Beckham had accepted an invitation for talks with the King to explore collaborative charity efforts.

This news surfaces as Prince Harry visited London for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games but conveyed that a meeting with his father would not be possible due to the King’s full schedule.

A spokesperson for Prince Harry expressed understanding of his father’s commitments and priorities, expressing hope for a future meeting.

Additionally, a source disclosed to Page Six that Prince Harry had requested a meeting with his father, who is battling cancer, a month in advance.

Despite their previous close relationship and Beckham’s role as an ambassador for the Invictus Games, reports suggest that Beckham has distanced himself from Prince Harry following the latter’s public criticisms of the Royal Family.

This latest development underscores the complexities within the royal family dynamics and the shifting relationships among its members and associates.
