Lagos State Governor Gifts Pelumi Nubi Car, House, and More for London to Lagos Road Trip
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, celebrated Pelumi Nubi for her inspirational journey from London, England to Lagos, Nigeria, by road. Nubi, who traveled by road for 68 days, received a brand new car from Sanwo-Olu, who also appointed her as a Tourism Ambassador of Lagos State.
Additionally, she was given a customized plate number and donated the vehicle she used for the trip to the J Randle Center for Yoruba Culture and History as a gift to Lagos State. Sanwo-Olu praised Nubi’s resilience and positive energy, expressing gratitude to her parents for nurturing such a remarkable individual.
The State Government will cover her entire bill for the trip and has provided her with an apartment in Lagos, ensuring her continued success. Nubi thanked Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Government for their support and generous gifts, expressing her gratitude for their unwavering dedication to improving the lives of their constituents.
