Leicester City Faces Set Back As Wilfred Ndidi Gets Injured

Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers said he decided to take off Wilfred Ndidi in Foxes’ 1-1 draw with Everton in order to prevent aggravating his injury.
Ndidi was replaced by Papy Mendy just before half-time after sustaining a hamstring injury at the Goodison Park on Wednesday

Speaking after the match, Rodgers said he took Ndidi to prevent more damage.

“Wilf was tight, it was the back of his hamstring, so we’ll see how that goes in the next couple of days.

“He doesn’t think he’s overstretched or tore it. We’ll just have to assess that. We couldn’t risk it.” he told club’s website.

Ndidi has scored once in 11 league appearances for the former premier league champions this season.
