A week after the Reds progressed on penalties in the Carabao Cup, substitute Ademola Lookman’s goal earned Leicester a 1-0 Premier League victory in front of their home fans at the King Power Stadium.
Liverpool had an early opportunity to take the lead when Wilfred Ndidi fouled Mohamed Salah inside the area, but Kasper Schmeichel saved the Egyptian’s penalty and then the forward headed the rebound off the crossbar. Video highlights below:
