Lizzy Anjorin Claps Back at Faith Ojo Over Land Dispute Allegations
Controversial Nollywood actress and businesswoman, Lizzy Anjorin, has issued a bold response to Faith Ojo, her colleague, amid an ongoing controversy involving an alleged land-grabbing incident.
In a court document recently obtained by journalists, Ojo implicated Lateef Lawal, Anjorin’s husband, among the defendants sued for demolishing structures on her property. Ojo is seeking N30 million in compensation and demands that the defendants cover litigation costs. Additionally, she seeks a perpetual injunction preventing them from entering or developing the land.
Confirming the allegations on her Instagram page, Ojo asserted the validity of her claims and disclosed her intention to build an orphanage on the land she purchased four years ago.
In a fiery response to Ojo’s claims, Anjorin challenged her colleague to provide receipts to substantiate her accusations. Casting doubt on Ojo’s motives, Anjorin questioned whether the allegations were part of a larger scheme to tarnish her reputation.
“Madam, we sympathize with you… Can you post the receipt of those that collected money from you or are you trying to change the narrative? If you are not in a game to set me up to destroy me, kindly help us with the receipt of your claims,” Anjorin retorted.
As the dispute between Anjorin and Ojo escalates, the public awaits further developments and clarity regarding the contentious land issue.
