Mason Mount Emerges Chelsea’s Player Of The Year

London club, Chelsea has named Mason Mount as the recipient of their Player of the year award for the 2020/2021 season.

The vote was done online, which involved fans to determine the team’s most effective player this season.

This online voting declared the Englishman as the club’s best player for the past nine months.

Mason Mount has been quite a show for the London side, breaking into the first team under Frank Lampard in 2019/2020.

The Englishman has made the most appearances this season than any other Chelsea player and played the highest minutes as a first-team player.

In 50 games across all competitions, Mount has scored 9 goals and made 7 assists, coming second only to Timo Werner in goal contributions.

The 22-year-old has been able to mature in his games and gained a sense of adaptability as he progressed through the years.

This has made him a valuable asset for The Blues and manager Thomas Tuchel.
