Minister Takes Action on Rising Cement Prices, Summons Manufacturers to Meeting
In response to the alarming increase in cement prices, Minister of Works, David Umahi, has taken decisive action by summoning prominent cement manufacturers to a crucial meeting. The rising cost of cement has become a cause for concern, particularly in light of its widespread use by road and housing contractors.
The Minister’s Special Adviser (Media), Orji Uchenna Orji, announced that the meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 19, 2024, at the Ministry’s Conference Hall in Mabushi, Abuja.
