Moment Peter Obi lashed out at Dino Melaye at Presidential Townhall meeting
Presidential candidate of the Labour party (LP), Peter Obi was captured on camera publicly expressing his anger at politician, Dino Melaye at the presidential town hall meeting organized by Arise TV on Sunday night, November 6.
The drama began when one of the attendees stood up to question the presidential candidates and someone from the crowd was heard saying “Obi people, Na wah o.”
On hearing the words, Peter Obi took a swipe at Dino, accusing him of calling everybody, “Obi people.”
“Stop that Dino. Why are you always calling me? I won’t take that. This man is from ANPP. Why are you calling him Obi people?” a quite angered Peter Obi is heard saying.
There was little drama at a presidential town hall meeting which held at the Transcorps Hilton, Abuja, after PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar failed to show and instead, sent his running mate, Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state.
The event was organised by the Centre for Democracy and Development and Arise Television on Sunday November 6, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party; Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, (NNPP) and presidential candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party, Kola Abiola, attended the event in person.
APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was also absent and there was no representative for the ruling party.
