Ned Nwoko Denies Marriage and Pregnancy Rumours Involving Chika Ike
Billionaire politician and senator, Prince Ned Nwoko, has firmly dismissed claims that he is planning to marry Nollywood actress Chika Ike as his seventh wife or that she is expecting his child.
In a statement released on his social media handles on Monday, Nwoko described the rumors as entirely baseless, labeling them as malicious fabrications intended to mislead the public.
“Our attention has been drawn to the recent false rumors alleging that Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko is planning to marry Nollywood actress Chika Ike as his seventh wife and that she is pregnant for him. We categorically state that these claims are entirely baseless and a product of malicious speculation,” the statement read.
Nwoko also refuted reports suggesting that he made statements about singer 2Baba (Tuface Idibia) and polygamy, dismissing them as completely untrue.
He pointed out that as a public figure, and with his wife, Regina Daniels, being an actress, it is common for bloggers to fabricate such stories for attention. However, he emphasized that he is currently focused on his national assignment and has no time for distractions.
“This office remains available to journalists for verification of information, and we remind media practitioners of the consequences of spreading fake news,” the statement added.
Nwoko urged the public to disregard the rumors and rely only on official statements from his office. His remarks come amidst ongoing speculation about his personal life, frequently discussed on social media.
