Filmmaker Kunle Afolayan made the announcement on October 7, 2024, via his Instagram account, expressing his enthusiasm for the upcoming season. The new episodes promise to dive deeper into compelling stories rooted in Nigeria’s cultural and historical landscape.

Production for the second season took place in Oyo State, Nigeria, and Ghana, reinforcing the show’s dedication to authentically portraying African heritage.
