At least one person has been reportedly killed by armed robbers who attacked a commercial bank in Iragbiji, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State.

He further explained that the robbers shot sporadically into the air and engaged the police in a gun duel before they fled the scene, escaping with their loot.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, who confirmed the robbery said a tactical team has been deployed to trail the robbers.
This will be the second time robbers will be attacking banks in Iree town this year.
Some months ago, daredevil robbers stormed two commercial banks in the same area leaving one person dead.
This latest bank robbery now leaves residents of Ikirun, Iragbiji, Iree, Ada, Okuku and other adjoining towns stranded as the robbed bank has been the only commercial bank servicing them since the one in Ikirun was robbed in 2016.
