Osimhen Recovers After Shaking Off Head injury

Osimhen was bleeding from the head after a collision with Cagliari defender Luca Ceppitelli at the Diego Maradona on Sunday.

The 21-year-old was later substituted in order to avoid more damage but has now recovered quickly to take part in Tuesday’s training session ahead of the game with Spezia.

Osimhen’s return to training is a huge boost for coach Gennaro Gattuso as they go into the final phase of the season chasing a champions league spot.

Osimhen scored Napoli’s only goal 1-1 in the draw against Cagliari to take his record to 6 goals and 1 assist in his last 10 games for the club.

The €70m summer signing from Lille has scored a total of 8 goal goals in 20 league appearances for Napoli this campaign.

Meanwhile, Napoli currently occupies 5th position with 67 points, just two points adrift Juventus, Atalanta and Milan.
