Paulo Okoye Declares Kizz Daniel as the Only Nigerian Artist Capable of Challenging Burna Boy
In a recent discussion with popular podcaster Ifedayo Olarinde, better known as Daddy Freeze, renowned music executive Paulo Okoye made a bold statement about the Nigerian music industry. Paulo, who is well-versed in the industry, claimed that Kizz Daniel is the only Nigerian artist who has the potential to challenge the dominance of Grammy-award-winning singer Burna Boy.
Paulo Okoye emphasized that while Burna Boy is currently unmatched in the Nigerian music scene, Kizz Daniel could give him a run for his money if he focuses and puts himself together. Despite frequent comparisons between Burna Boy and other Nigerian superstars like Davido and Wizkid, Paulo insisted that it is Kizz Daniel who stands the best chance of competing with Burna Boy.
During the chat, Paulo highlighted his experience working with Kizz Daniel, revealing that the artist earned at least $7.5 million from their collaboration alone. He suggested that Kizz Daniel’s potential earnings could be even higher when considering other sources.
Paulo also reiterated that Burna Boy is by far the richest Nigerian musician, stating that the artist made between $70 million and $80 million in the previous year alone. This statement further solidifies Burna Boy’s position at the top of the Nigerian music industry.
