Pepsi Elevates Music Experience at 10th AMVCA, Reinforcing Commitment to African Entertainment”

Pepsi, a prominent sponsor of the 10th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), once again showcased its unwavering support for African entertainment, blending a mix of nostalgia and contemporary vibes at the prestigious event held at the EKO Hotel Convention Centre in Lagos.

In line with Pepsi’s dedication to celebrating and refreshing a youthful lifestyle, exemplified by its POV Confam Gbedu Reloaded campaign, the brand infused the live show with an exhilarating lineup of musical performances that paid homage to Africa’s rich musical heritage while embracing modern sounds.

The event kicked off with iconic artists Shaffi Bello and Seyi Sodimu, whose rendition of their classic hit “Love me Jeje” set the stage for a nostalgic journey through time. Legendary artist Awilo Longomba brought his unmistakable Soukous and dance rhythms, while Kcee, the “Ojapiano” master, injected infectious energy into the night. Afrocentric sensation Chike and soulful Adekunle Gold added their unique musical styles to the mix, elevating the experience for attendees.

The event also saw notable film industry figures and celebrities recognized for their contributions, with awards presented to deserving recipients, including Ademola Adedoyin, James Kalu Omokwe, Madam Idowu Philips (Iya Rainbow), and Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD).
