Police begin investigation as Yul Edochie files complaint against late son’s school

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie is ready to take legal action against the school of his son, Kambilichukwu Edochie, who died on Thursday.

According to reports, Edochie accused the management of the school of negligence.

The bereaved movie director reported the death of his son to the Lagos State Police Command.

The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the development in a chat with BBC, on Thursday.
According to Hundeyin, the matter will be forwarded to the State Criminal Investigation Department today (Friday) for investigation.

Hundeyin said;

“He just reported the case and we have begun investigation. By tomorrow (Friday) it will be transferred to state CID. We will investigate what killed the boy. They have to do an autopsy and know what happened to him,” he said.

“We can’t tell you what happened to him now until an autopsy is conducted, but the incident happened in the school.”

Kambilichukwu died on Thursday morning after developing a seizure and was rushed to the Mother and Child Hospital in Lagos.

Though Kambilinachukwu is the first son, he is the second child of Yul and May in their 18 years of marriage.

Their other children are Danielle, Karl, and Victory Edochie.
