“Portable is wild but he speaks fact” – Davido reacts to video of the singer giving a motivational speech
Davido spotted the video on social media and was impressed by Portable’s wisdom.
Nigerian music executive, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has reacted to a video of his colleague, Portable, advising his followers about success.
The Zazuh star, who describes himself as “werey olorin i.e a mad singer”, had taken to his Instagram page to advise people to take charge of their life and not depend on other people for opportunities, and ultimately their success.
According to Portable, though he is not a good English speaker, he would still try to motivate and advise people on the right path to take.
Davido spotted the video on social media and was impressed by Portable’s display of wisdom. According to him, he laughed hysterically after watching the video, but admitted that Portable speaks fact even though he has a “wild” personality.
In other news, Davido and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland, met the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwui, and his wives, Queen Mariam and Queen Tobi Philips, at an event recently.
The pair met the revered monarch at the wedding reception of Taiwo Afolabi’s daughter over the weekend.
Videos from the event that surfaced online captured the meeting and showed the moment Davido introduced Chioma to the Ooni and his queens as his wife.
As Chioma exchanged pleasantries with the king, he reminded her of her and Davido’s visit to his palace in 2018.
