Presidency Asserts No Cabal Can Hijack Tinubu’s Government
The Presidency has made it clear that there will be no opportunity for a cabal to seize control of President Bola Tinubu’s government.
Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, emphasized that no individual holds a monopoly over the information that reaches the President in the Presidency.
Speaking on TVC News Sunday Politics, Ngelale stated, “I think this is a man who anyone working in the office of the President would tell you, there is not one individual in the Presidency that has a monopoly over what the President sees, hears, and reads.”
He further explained that President Tinubu ensures that everyone who needs access to him has it, maintaining direct communication with the heads of intelligence agencies, anti-graft agencies, and other relevant stakeholders on a regular basis.
Ngelale emphasized that the President is fully aware of the dynamics of power and influence that have shaped previous administrations, and he is determined to prevent the formation of any cabal during his tenure.
The intention is to promote transparency, accountability, and inclusivity in decision-making processes within the government. President Tinubu aims to avoid the pitfalls of past administrations by fostering an environment where multiple voices and perspectives are heard and considered.
This statement from the Presidency aims to assure the public that President Tinubu is committed to maintaining an open and accessible government, where power is not concentrated in the hands of a few individuals. The emphasis on direct communication and the avoidance of a cabal reflects a desire for a more democratic and collaborative approach to governance.
