Prof. Peter Umeadi Vows to Run for Presidency Again

Prof. Peter Umeadi, SAN, former Chief Judge of Anambra State and presidential candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the last general election, has declared his intention to contest for the presidency of Nigeria again if given another opportunity.

Speaking at the 2024 General Assembly of the Association of Past Presidents General of Anambra State (APASS), where he was honored with the “Best Politician of the Year” award, Umeadi reaffirmed his commitment to seeking Igbo inclusion in Nigeria.

Acknowledging the endorsement he received from the Association of South East Past Presidents General, Umeadi emphasized the importance of reconciliation across Nigeria, particularly among the Igbo community. He expressed gratitude for the recognition bestowed upon him by APASS and pledged to continue his efforts towards achieving Igbo representation in the country.

Umeadi’s dedication to national unity and his determination to pursue the presidency reflect his belief in the need for equitable participation and recognition of the contributions of the Igbo people to the nation.
