See AC Milan’s Goalkeeper’s Response to Racist Calgliari Fans after Victory
AC Milan goalkeeper, Mike Maignan responded on Twitter to the racist insults against him in recent days by posting a picture of himself.
Shortly after the game between AC Milan and Cagliari came to an end yesterday, a brawl erupted on the pitch between the players. The reason behind this was racial insults that especially Mike Maignan received throughout the game.
As the goalkeeper was leaving his position between the sticks (after the final whistle), the Cagliari fans hurled things at him. Fikayo Tomori went over to Maignan and hugged him, while also making some gestures towards the Cagliari ultras.
On Twitter, Maignan published a strong message with two black and white photos, one of a monkey giving the middle finger and one of him and Tomori. He added the caption “N.W.A”, referring to the abbreviation of the rap group “Niggaz Wit Attitudes”.
