Stephanie Okocha Celebrates 10 Years in Music Industry with Scholarships for Aspiring Leaders

Stephanie Okocha, a renowned music executive and the founder of Panda Entertainment, is marking her 10-year milestone in the music industry by awarding scholarships to aspiring industry professionals. In a move that highlights her commitment to nurturing future talent, she has partnered with The Music Business Academy (MBA) for Africa to sponsor two students in their 2024 program. This initiative demonstrates her dedication to promoting education and innovation within Africa’s creative sector.

Stephanie reached out to MBA for Africa with the desire to support young talents through their program, which focuses on building a skilled workforce for Africa’s growing entertainment industry. The Academy selected two students, Emmanuel Nimmak and Michelle Uzuegbu, based on their criteria, which emphasize excellence and creative innovation. These scholarships will help the recipients develop important skills for their future careers in the music business, offering them an opportunity that Stephanie herself did not have when starting out.

Reflecting on her journey, Stephanie explained how her own quest for knowledge led her to pursue education in the U.S. due to the lack of music business schools in Nigeria at the time. “I’m thrilled that aspiring executives can now pursue their dreams right here in Nigeria. Education is the cornerstone of growth, and I am passionate about seeing young professionals thrive in both business and the creative arts,” she shared. Her passion for education and professional growth is a key part of her legacy in the music industry.
