Street Singer Portable Takes Firm Stance on Infidelity: “If Any of My Wives Cheat, It’s Over”
Renowned street singer Portable makes a bold declaration regarding infidelity, asserting that if any of his wives were to cheat on him, he would end the relationship to avoid premature death.
Portable, known for his candidness, took to Instagram on February 13, 2024, to express his stance, stating, “If any of my wife cheats and I know oti loo because I don’t want to die young. If your wife dey cheat and you no fit talk, that’s means you’re not a responsible man. Sha no forget to say them fit use your woman get you down.”
His statement sparked a flurry of responses on social media, with many pointing out Portable’s history of having multiple wives and baby mamas, including Omobewaji and Ashabi Simple, with whom he had a public dispute in January 2024.
Portable’s remarks were prompted by a clip from an interview featuring Seun and Yetunde Kuti on TVC’s Your View. Yetunde expressed her commitment to her marriage, stating that she would not leave her husband, Seun, even if he cheated.
