Super Eagles Defender Joins Turkish Super Lig Club From Porto FC
Chidozie Awaziem has completed his transfer to Turkish Super Lig Club Alanyaspor FC.
Awaziem arrived Turkey to seal the deal on Wednesday, after featuring in Super Eagles world cup qualifying game against Cape Verde.
The former FC Porto star has been seriously linked with a move away from Boavista FC, but Alanyaspor is the team that showed concrete interest.
Awaziem confirmed the transfer to Alanyaspor FC, with a post on his offical Instagram handle.
“New chapter, let the battle begin Alanyaspor football club”.
The former Leganes of Fra defender joined Boavista two seasons ago and after some impressive performances, he was named as their assistance captain last season.
