Taraba Community Pleads for Urgent Government Action Amid Rising Security Concerns

In the wake of escalating insecurity, the Karimjo Community Development Association in Taraba State has issued a fervent plea to both the Taraba State Government and the leadership of Karim-Lamido Local Government Council, urging immediate action to address the alarming security situation.

Expressing deep concern over recent violent incidents, the community has condemned the fatal shooting of one Gambo Mani, who tragically lost his life while returning home in the Angwa Rimi area of Karim Lamido Council. Describing the act as heinous and barbaric, community members stress the urgent need for proactive measures to safeguard the lives and property of residents.

Kennedy James, the National President of the association, underscored a disturbing pattern of violence in the area, citing recent killings in Binneri community, an attack on Didango community by unidentified gunmen, and sporadic shootings in Yolde Matawo.
