TB Joshua’s wife becomes trustee of SCOAN
A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, yesterday appointed Mrs. Evelyn Joshua as a trustee of Synagogue Church Of All Nations, SCOAN, in line with the church’s constitution which prescribes a minimum of three trustees for the church.
Evelyn is the wife of Late TB. Joshua, founder of SCOAN.
Trial judge, Justice Tijjani Ringim gave judgement appointing Mrs. Joshua as a trustee of the church, following a petition brought by concerned and committed members of the church, presented my Mr. Kola Kareem and Mrs. Moji Oguntoyinbo.
Respondents of the action by the plaintiffs in suit FHC/L/CP/1109/2021, were the Incorporated Trustees of the SCOAN, the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC and Mrs. Evelyn Onyisi Joshua.
The petitioners were represented by Emeka Ekweozor and Chris Eme.
Ossazu Owie represented 1st and 2nd respondents while O.N Chukwu appeared for the CAC.
The respondents through their counsel did not oppose the petition brought and made under Section 839(6)(B) of the (CAMA) 2020 (as Amended).
The church has been in limbo since the passing of Prophet TB. Joshua over the leadership succession in the church.
