Tems, Davido, and Lojay Triumph at 2024 NAACP Image Awards
Nigerian music stars Tems, Davido, and Lojay emerged victorious on the first night of the 2024 NAACP Image Awards, held virtually on March 11.
Tems clinched the Outstanding International Song award for her track ‘Me & U,’ showcasing her talent on the global stage.
Davido and Lojay were recognized for their collaboration with Chris Brown on the song ‘Sensational,’ which secured the Outstanding Duo, Group, or Collaboration (contemporary) accolade.
The night also saw Chris Brown and Victoria Monét as standout winners, with each artist claiming two awards. Brown received recognition for ‘Sensational’ and his feature on Ciara’s ‘How We Roll,’ while Monét’s album ‘Jaguar II’ earned her the Outstanding Album and Outstanding New Artist awards.
