Tems, the rising Afrobeats sensation, has finally released her highly awaited debut album titled ‘Born In The Wild’. The album, comprising 18 tracks with two interludes, features guest appearances from Afrobeats superstar Asake and American Grammy-winning rapper J Cole.

Released on June 7, 2024, ‘Born In The Wild’ follows the successful trajectory of Tems’ career, building anticipation among fans who have eagerly awaited her first full-length project. Preceding the album, Tems dropped singles like ‘Me & U’, which recently garnered her two nominations for the 2024 BET Awards, and ‘Love Me Jeje’, a track that samples Seyi Sodimu and Shaffy Bello’s song of the same name.

The album’s launch follows Tems’ recent performances of tracks like ‘Unfortunate’ on NPR Tiny Desk and ‘Love Me Jeje’ on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, indicating the artist’s growing presence on both national and international stages.

‘Born In The Wild’ marks Tems’ third project and comes two years after the release of her EP ‘If Orange Was A Place’. Since gaining international recognition for her standout performance on Wizkid’s global hit song ‘Essence’, Tems has become one of the fastest-rising artists in the global music scene. Collaborating with industry heavyweights like Beyonce, Drake, and Future, she even secured a Grammy award for Best Melodic Rap Performance.
