Award-winning cinematographer and music producer ThankGod Omori, better known as TG Omori, recently updated his fans about his health condition following a failed kidney transplant. On Friday, Omori shared that he is currently recovering from the surgery’s stitches, expressing his determination to keep fighting despite the setback.

In his heartfelt message, Omori acknowledged the overwhelming support and love he has received from his fans and expressed his eagerness to return to creating music videos soon. He wrote on his X account, “Up and grateful, O Lord. (Sadly, I can’t backflip.) Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. I’m healing now from the stitches of the failed one, I’ll continue the fight. I’ve been on it for the past year or two, and I can’t back down now. Love you all so much. Can’t wait to create new, crowded music videos for you all.”

TG Omori’s struggles began after a kidney ailment required a transplant. His brother selflessly donated a kidney to help improve Omori’s condition. However, the transplant was not successful, and Omori has since faced multiple surgeries. He recently disclosed that he had undergone three operations and remains hopeful and determined to overcome these challenges.

TG Omori’s transparency about his health battle has touched many, especially when he recounted the emotional moment his only brother donated a kidney to save his life. He posted a picture from his hospital bed, capturing the gravity of the situation and the deep bond between him and his brother. In a poignant note, he stated, “Yesterday, my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again. Keep my spirit alive. I don’t want to die.”
