Tinubu Pledges Agricultural Revolution, Collaborative Leadership with Spiritual Figures

President Bola Tinubu has declared his administration’s commitment to transforming Nigeria’s agricultural sector, aiming to achieve self-sufficiency in food production and become a net exporter of agricultural products.

During a meeting with a delegation from the Global Tijaniyya Movement, led by Khalifa Muhammad Mahe Niass, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Tinubu outlined his vision for agricultural development and support for religious activities.

Emphasizing the importance of spiritual endeavors in nation-building, Tinubu highlighted his administration’s dedication to supporting religious activities and fostering collaboration between political and spiritual leaders to advance national interests and promote unity among the people.

Regarding agriculture, Tinubu detailed plans to enhance productivity through initiatives such as expanding farmlands, providing low-interest loans to farmers, and investing in irrigation infrastructure. He expressed determination to make Nigeria a net exporter of food, emphasizing the importance of productivity and mechanization in achieving this goal.

Tinubu commended the Global Tijaniyya Movement for their support and prayers, underscoring the significance of collective efforts in nation-building. In response, Khalifa Niass conveyed the delegation’s support and prayers for Tinubu’s leadership, expressing confidence in his commitment to Nigeria’s peace, progress, and stability.
