Tope Alabi’s Daughter Snubs Biological Father, Praises Stepdad After Private Wedding
Nigerian gospel singer Tope Alabi’s daughter, Ayomiku, has openly expressed gratitude to her stepfather, Soji Alabi, while completely ignoring her biological father after her private wedding.
Back in November 2020, Ayomiku’s biological father made headlines when he claimed that Tope Alabi had kept him away from their daughter for 22 years. However, amid the controversy, Ayomiku publicly stated that she only recognizes Soji Alabi as her father.
Following her wedding on March 17, 2025, Ayomiku took to Instagram to appreciate the man she considers her true father. In an emotional post, she described Soji Alabi as a loving and supportive figure in her life.
She expressed how deeply he cares for her and how writing the message even brought her to tears.
“A father indeed! A man after my heart. A man whose love has been my pillar. I write this with tears in my eyes because I don’t even know where to start. This man loves me beyond words. I can’t explain or express it. I love you with every bone in my body,” she wrote.
Ayomiku also thanked Soji Alabi for always being there for her, from childhood to her wedding day, and prayed that he would reap the rewards of his dedication.
