Two traffic robbers nabbed in Lagos
Men of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested two persons, Dada Owolabi and Kolawole Olawoye for allegedly dispossessing unsuspecting members of the public of their valuables inside traffic in the Ogudu/Alapere area of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said in a statement on Sunday that the suspects were arrested by men of the Rapid Response Squad at different locations in the area, adding that Owolabi and Olawoye had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, Yaba for further investigation.
The suspects are assisting the police to apprehend other fleeing members of their gangs.
“The State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered that the suspects be transferred to the SCIID, Panti, Yaba for proper investigation”.
