Uche Maduagwu Slams Veekee James for Shading Single Ladies
Nigerian actor Uche Maduagwu has called out fashion designer Veekee James for her recent comments about single ladies. The fashion designer, who is married, had shared advice on social media, claiming that women should look for men who are financially responsible, spiritual, and physically attractive. However, Uche Maduagwu wasn’t having it and slammed Veekee James for using her marriage as a standard for others.
In a heated response, Uche stated, “No one asked for your advice,” expressing that what works for Veekee James might not be suitable for every woman. He pointed out that each individual has different preferences when it comes to relationships, and using her marriage as a yardstick for all women was unfair.
Uche went on to say that many Nigerian women prefer men who are financially responsible for their needs, rather than the other way around. He added, “Stop making it look like marriage is a designer dress that fits all.” He also criticized Veekee’s ideal of a man, mentioning that the type of man she desires might not be the same for every woman.
This exchange follows Veekee James’ post featuring a photo of her husband with the caption, “This could be you and somebody’s son, but you like your men tall and handsome with perfect set of teeth, 100% financial responsibility, impeccable dress sense, very spiritual, yet with a touch of bad boyness.” Uche Maduagwu’s comments have sparked reactions on social media, with many people sharing their opinions on the matter.
