Uduak Akpan, Killer Of Akwa Ibom Jobseeker Umoren, sentenced To Death by court
Uduak Akpan has been sentenced to death by hanging for the murder of Iniobong Umoren, a graduate of philosophy, University of Uyo, by a High Court Sitting in Akwa Ibom
Bassey Nkanang, the trial judge, on Thursday, gave the verdict
Three persons that stood trial for the murder are Uduak-Abasi Akpan, the first accused person, Frank Akpan and Anwan-Bassey Akpan the second and third accused person.
Court however dischargex and acquitted Frank Akpan and Anwan-Bassey Akpan, the second and third accused persons.
Umoren was declared missing in May 2021 after leaving home to meet Akpan over a potential job offer in Akwa Ibom and was found dead days later.
