He gained further recognition with his song “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh),” produced by DJ Spinz and Nitti Beatz, which peaked at No 26 on the Billboard Hot 100. The track also contributed to the “Hit the Quan” dance craze in 2015. Quan’s debut studio album, “Rich As In Spirit,” was released in 2018. This album featured mostly solo work, with a notable collaboration on the single “Think About It” with Rick Ross.

In 2022, Quan discussed returning to music after a hiatus. He was involved in legal disputes with his former label, T.I.G. (Think It’s a Game Record), but was eager to make a comeback. During this period, he was also in a public dispute with Young Thug, who faced legal issues related to charges of conspiracy and involvement in a criminal street gang. Quan expressed his desire to resolve the issues with Young Thug and criticized the broader targeting of rappers by law enforcement.

Quan had expressed his thoughts on the scrutiny faced by artists and the influence of social media on their lives and careers. He believed that while some rappers may be targeted due to their actions, there is a broader issue of how their art is perceived and misinterpreted.
