VeryDarkMan Claims to Have Destroyed Gistlover’s Credibility, Calls Out Celebrities
Nigerian social media activist VeryDarkMan, whose real name is Martins Vincent Otse, recently made bold claims on Instagram about his role in discrediting the popular anonymous blog, Gistlover. He stated that he has “finished the credibility” of Gistlover and effectively “chased them away.”
VeryDarkMan posted, “Let it be known that VeryDarkMan finished the credibility of Gistlover blog and finally chased them away. Let it be known that the ratel is backed by God. Let it be known that till now I haven’t met my Waterloo.”
This statement comes amid ongoing drama involving Otse and various Nigerian celebrities. Otse has previously accused actress Tonto Dikeh and her colleague Iyabo Ojo of dragging him to the police over his claims about their involvement in the case of the late singer Mohbad, suggesting that their actions were insincere.
In a video from June 2024, VeryDarkMan made a controversial assertion, stating, “Tonto Dikeh is Gistlover, and I can prove it. I’m ready to go to court anytime. Tonto Dikeh is Gistlover; she has been the one posting different celebrity news and everything. And I am saying it with my full chest.”
VeryDarkMan also took the opportunity to criticize celebrities who supported Bobrisky financially during his recent troubles. In an Instagram story, he expressed frustration over celebrities prioritizing donations to Bobrisky, a crossdresser, instead of contributing to more pressing community needs.
“Una contribute over 70 million give cross dresser and una no fit help build boreholes for communities when no get clean water, children no fit go schools because them No get chairs to seat for class, and una gather money for cross-dresser when dey deceive youths,” he lamented.
He continued his rant by questioning the intentions behind these donations, implying that there might be ulterior motives: “Abi dem dey doke am? abi he dey pimp for them, this na serious matter ooo, like wtf.”
Ending his series of posts, VeryDarkMan expressed his disdain for celebrity culture and the need for validation: “Alaye Fk everybody ooo I no need anybody validation o… who celebrity friendship epp, what validation do I need.”
These comments have sparked significant discussion across social media platforms, with many users debating the validity of his claims and his outspoken critique of celebrities.
