Wike Celebrates Son’s Achievement in Earning Master’s Degree from UK University

 

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has proudly celebrated his son, Jordan Wike, for earning a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom. The proud father took to social media to share the joyous news and express his pride in his son’s academic achievement.

In a heartfelt post on X, Wike shared his excitement about witnessing his son’s graduation ceremony, stating, “Happy to witness, alongside my wife, the graduation ceremony of our son, Jordan, who just earned a Master of Laws (LLM) degree at Queen Mary University of London, UK.” He expressed his happiness about Jordan’s progress in his career, saying, “As a father, I am happy for the progress Jordan is making in the pursuit of his career.”

The post was accompanied by several photos taken during the graduation ceremony, which also featured Wike’s wife, Eberechi, a judge of the Court of Appeal. The family’s joy was evident as they celebrated this significant milestone in Jordan’s academic journey.

Jordan’s academic journey has been impressive. In July 2022, he earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Exeter, UK. His recent achievement in earning an LLM further solidifies his commitment to his studies and future career in law.

Wike, who served as the governor of Rivers State from 2015 to 2023, was appointed as the FCT minister by President Bola Tinubu following the end of his tenure as governor. His son’s academic success adds to the family’s list of achievements, and the minister’s pride in his son is clear from his public celebration.
